MMDA teams up with PNP in traffic management

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Philippine National Police- Highway Patrol Group start joining forces to minimize the traffic in Metro Manila.

According to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, an estimated 500 traffic personnel has been eployed for its tie-up in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) with the MMDA and PNP-HPG starting last Friday.

The Balintawak, North EDSA-Trinoma, Quezon Avenue, Mone De Piedad, Aurora Boulevard, Santolan, ortigas, Shaw Boulevard, Boni, Guadalupe, Ayala, Magallanes and EDSA Taft areas will have additional traffic personnel with this latest scheme from the MMDA.

The said move aims to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in EDSA.
