MMDA suspends number coding for Holy Week


The number coding scheme is suspended starting this Holy Wednesday, April 12, and will last until Good Friday, April 14.

The Metro Manila Development Authority also announced that they will implement alternate routes since some streets in Metro Manila will be closed this Holy Week.

J.P. Rizal Avenue/Estrella Street, Kalayaan Avenu/Reposo Street, and Valdez-Makati Avenue, will be closed starting 5:00PM onwards during Holy Wednesday until Good Friday.

The same routes will also be closed during Black Friday starting 11:00PM onwards, and Easter Sunday from 2:00PM onwards.

For motorists from Gudalupe going to Manila, they can turn left at Estrella Street going EDSA, and turn right at Gil Puyat Avenue.

For motorists coming from Manila and going to Guadalupe, they can turn right at Reposo Street, then turn left at Gil Puyat, and go straight to EDSA.

They can also turn right at Valdez Street, then turn right at Makati Avenue, turn left at Gil Puyat, and then go straight to EDSA.
