MMDA: Holy Week exodus to cause traffic on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists to leave as early as Holy Monday to prevent the Holy Week exodus on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

The MMDA said it will lift its number coding on those days, which will cause heavy traffic.

“PAALAALA: Walang number coding sa buong Metro Manila sa Huwebes, April 17, 2014 (Maundy Thursday) at Biyernes, April 18, 2014 (Good Friday),” the MMDA said over Twitter on Monday.

The MMDA also released the schedule of road reblocking and repairs along EDSA starting Tuesday to Friday.
