The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) conducted road clearing operations on Friday, November 20, in Baclaran, Parañaque City.
MMDA Task Force Special Operations unit, headed by Col. Memel Rojas, removed illegally parked vehicles, food stalls, and other unauthorized infrastructures along the sidewalks of Baclaran.
The operation surprised illegal vendors, who hastily put away their wares.
Meanwhile, in Pasay City, mayor Imelda ‘Emi’ Rubiano promised to provide an alternate source of income to vendors affected by the road-clearing operations.
