Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Tim Orbos admitted that it may take up to two years before the public can feel the result of the programs being implemented by the agency to solve the traffic crisis in Metro Manila.

According to the official, the similar implementation of ‘No Window Hour’ in odd even scheme in EDSA is one of their experiments to minimize the mentioned problem.

But the MMDA chief said that media vehicles are exempted in the ‘No Window Hour’ policy in EDSA.

MMDA chief said the agency only requests media for proper coordination with their office.

The MMDA’s ‘No Window Hour’ policy started last October 14, 2016, in preparation for heavy traffic flow during the holiday season, and is expected to end first week of January 2017.
