Miriam College cancels classes due to bomb threat

Miriam College in Quezon City on Wednesday was forced to suspend its classes and close its offices after receiving a bomb threat.

According to the Miriam College official Twitter page, the school received a bomb threat through an anonymous text message on Tuesday night, October 17.

The Miriam College’s management responded by having experts conduct a complete inspection of the school property.

Authorities, however, did not find anything suspicious upon searching the campus.

On Tuesday night the school’s management posted on its Facebook page that they will be asking authorities to undertake a more thorough inspection of the campus to ensure the safety of its students and faculties.

The management informed that it will be keeping its students and workers updated on when work and classes will resume.
