Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Eddie Monreal, along with other airplane passengers, were affected by the runway closure at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
According to Monreal, his flight from Osaka, Japan was also delayed.
Runway 06-24 was temporarily closed this July 6 after potholes were seen in the track.
The runway was re-opened pass 1:00PM after the potholes were covered with asphalt.
Meanwhile, GM Monreal apologized to all affected airplane passengers for the latest trouble in the airport.
