Another major news to hit the Hallyu world at the start of the week are reports of Lee Joon deciding to not renew his contract with J. Tune Entertainment, thus leaving his group MBLAQ, to concentrate on his acting career.
According to recent reports, the MBLAQ members’ contracts are about to expire and sources said that Lee Joon has decided to no longer renew his contract.
However, upon checking with J. Tune camp, the management issued a statement admitting that they are currently in negotiations with Lee Joon regarding his future plans with the group and or with his personal career.
J.Tune camp added that Lee Joon will still be participating in MBLAQ’s “Curtain Call” concerts in November and other group’s promotional activities.
Meanwhile, amid Lee Joon’s supposed exit from the group, another member, Thunder, the younger brother of 2NE1’s Dara, is contemplating on leaving the group as well to pursue his acting career.
J. Tune Entertainment added that they are also in talks with Thunder regarding his career.
Previous reports also said that after their “Curtain Call” concert in November, the group will enlist together in the army.
