Malaysians freed

Two Malaysian nationals who are held captive in Mindanao were freed on Tuesday.

However, forlorn news was revealed by Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala, head of the Armed Forces of the Philippines public affairs office that one of the two Malaysians died.

Zagala mentioned that he received the news that a Malaysian was freed while the other one was dead.

The Malaysian who survived is now in the custody of Sulu provincial police office and will undergo medical checkup and debriefing.
