Amid Racal Ceramica Tile Master’s failure to win the championship of the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirant’s Cup, the team’s forward Jackson Corpuz successfully made it to the PBA.
PBA team Mahindra Floodbuster took in the 6-foot-4 player of Racal.
Mahindra Team Manager Joe Ramos revealed that Corpuz signed the contract after the finals game on April 6. According to reports, the contract will last until August.
During Game 3 of the Best-of-3 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup Finals, Corpuz scored 24 points for the Tile Masters, but it didn’t prevent the victory of Cignal HD Hawkeyes. Cignal won against Racal with a score of 81-77.
Corpuz is expected to start playing with Mahindra on April 9, as the Floodbusters face Talk N’ Text Katropa.
Currently, Mahindra has 1 win and four losses in the continuing 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
