A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Looc town in Occidental Mindoro early Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said in its bulletin.
The quake, with a depth of 33 kilometers, occurred around 4:06 AM and was felt in other parts of Luzon, including Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, and Metro Manila.
Phivolcs earlier reported the quake as magnitude 5.2 before it was revised to 5.4.

The earthquake was felt in these areas:
- Intensity IV: Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro; Tagaytay City
- Intensity III: Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro; Muntinlupa City; Makati City; Quezon City
- Intensity II: Marikina City; Malabon City; Meycauayan City, Bulacan; Floridablanca, Pampanga
Phivolcs said no damages are expected but aftershocks will likely occur.
