Metro Manila and its nearby provinces were shook by a magnitude 5.2 earthquake that jolted Batangas on Tuesday afternoon.
Based on the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the 5.8 quake occurred around 12:25 pm.
The epicenter of the quake was registered with a distance of 28 kilometer Southwest of Nasugbu, Batangas.
The quake was tectonic in nature with a depth of 119 kilometers.
Intensity 4 was felt in Nasugbu, Batangas; Lubang, Abra De Ilog in Occidental Mindoro.
Intensity 3 in Tagaytay City, Mandaluyong City, Quezon City, Makati City and Pasay City.
Intensity 2 in Manila, Paranaque, Marikina, Navotas, Plaridel, Obando, San Ildefonso and Malolos, Bulacan.
Intensity 1 in Las Pinas, Pasig, Bacoor, Cabanatuan City and Guagua, Pampanga.
Meanwhile, another earthquake was registered by PHIVOLCS, this time in Sarangani province, around 6pm.
According to PHIVOLCS, the epicenter of the quake had a distance of four kilometers southeast of Glan, Sarangani.
It was tectonic in nature with a depth of 95 kilometers.
Intensity 5 was felt in Glan, Malapatan, Alabel, and Malungon, Sarangani; and in General Santos City.
Intensity 4 in Tupi and Polomol, South Cotabato; Mati City, Davao City and Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur.
Intensity 2 in Kidapawan City.
PHIVOLCS issued a warning that there might be aftershocks following these two earthquakes.
No reported casualty or damage to property have been reported amid the two quakes.
