Liberal Party contemplates on leaving Duterte administration

There have been talks that members of the Liberal Party of thinking of leaving its alliance with the Duterte administration.

According to Ifugao Cong. Teddy Baguilat, one of the Magnificent 7 of Congress, some of his fellow congressmen have been assigned to speak with their other lawmakers in the Super Majority.

In Congress, 34 are Liberal Party congressmen.  Five of which are from the minority while 29 are from the super majority.

Baguilat admits that this is a difficult process because they need to sacrifice their positions in the committees at the lower house.

Caloocan Cong. Edgar Erice meanwhile insisted that call of LP congressmen to leave the super majority, and create a solid and true minority in Congress because it will be awkward to remain if their chairperson has already been removed from her post in the Cabinet.
