Valenzuela City Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian sets to investigate the errors discovered from the books of the Department of Education.
The congressman stated that the DepEd should review all textbooks to ensure that there are no defective contents in every page.
Gatchalian said the errors discovered should not be taken for granted for it will affect the implementation of the government’s K-12 program.
Meanwhile, Education Secretary Armin Luistro insisted that the 508-page book in questioned is only a draft, while Usec. Dina Ocampo said it was used for teacher training and not intended for classroom instruction.
Gatchalian said he does not buy the statements of Luistro and his undersecretary.
