Anthony Davis registered 29 points, and 12 rebounds while Lebron James finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Lakers to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The Lakers never let go of the lead after going up 26-22 at the end of the first quarter, which grew to a 16-point difference, 57-41, before the start of the second half.
With less than a minute left in the game, the Rockets managed to close the gap, 105-100, following two free throws from James Harden.
However, a three-point basket from Alex Caruso and an alley-oop from James provided the Los Angeles with the 10-point cushion needed to win the game.
Harden registered 21 points and 10 assists, while Russel Westbrook had 25 points for the Rockets that trailed behind by 23 points at most.
