Some of the familiar faces in showbiz and pageant industry made it to the cut of the much-awaited Miss Universe Philippines pageant this year.
Actress Kisses Delavin, model Maureen Wroblewritz, and Miss Globe 2019 2nd runner up Leren Mae Bautista are among the 100 delegates who will compete for the crown of MUP.
On Monday, the Miss Universe Philippines organization revealed through its Facebook page the official candidates.
“Universe, here is the last group of ladies to complete our official delegates for this year’s pageant,” Miss Universe Philippines announced while showing the names and photos of its top 100 delegates.
The pageant will release its list for the final 30 candidates on August 31.
Delavin, who hails from Masbate, is no stranger to pageants. Before her stint in the reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2016, Kisses was crowned as Miss Kaogma and Miss Masbate. She also won Miss Teen Masbate in 2013.
Meanwhile, Wroblewitz is a Filipino-German model best known for winning the fifth season of Asia’s Next Top Model in 2017. She signed with ABS-CBN talent management arm Star Magic last month.
Some pageant titleholders were also included in the list of aspirants. This includes Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2012 Katrina Dimaranan, Reyna ng Aliwan 2014 Steffi Rose Aberasturi, and Miss Globe 2019 2nd runner-up Leren Mae Bautista.
The coronation night will be on September 25.
