Ilocos Norte preps for typhoon “Jolina”

The local government of Ilocos Norte is busy preparing for typhoon “Jolina” which is expected to hit North Luzon.

According to the Ilocos Norte Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said that they already informed residents in areas that are easily flooded like Badoc, Currimao, Paoay, Laoag City, Bacarra, Pasuquin, Bangui, and Pagudpud to be ready just in case they need to evacuate.

The Ilocos Provincial Office is also helping them discriminate information while rubber boats are on standby in their police stations.

Fishermen in Laoag City were advised to refrain from setting sail amid the bad weather.
