House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez is allegedly set to be ousted from his post once Congress resumes session today, July 23.

According to three congressmen who declined to be named, the ‘oust movement’ against Alvarez will start at 10:00 AM this morning. They also confirmed that the former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will take on the post of Alvarez once the decision is finalized.

The unnamed congressmen also disclosed that Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara-Duterte Carpio was the one who led and asked for their support in expelling Alvarez and having Arroyo to replace him. Once the chamber approves, a motion to elect Arroyo as House Speaker would then be made.

It’s no secret how Presidential daughter Inday Sara despises Alvarez after declaring her as part of the political opposition the moment she formed a regional political party called Hugpong ng Pagbabago. She also hits back on the house speaker thru several social-media posts wherein she cursed on Alvarez and told him that he “messed with the wrong girl.”

However, Alvarez had denied calling Inday Sara part of the opposition.
