Heavy rains expected in Mindanao for the weekend

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) advised residents in Mindanao to remain alert for possible floods and landslides.

Heavy rains will be expected in large parts of Mindanao on Friday as an effect of the cold front tail.

PAGASA, said residents should not ignore the moderate to heavy rains today in the region since it may cause flashflood and landslides.
