The career of former Filipino-American Flyweight World Champion Brian ‘Hawaiian Punch’ Viloria continues to make an impressive comeback in the world of boxing by winning against Miguel Cartaguena.
This September 9 (American time), the 36-year old boxer defeated Cartaguena through a technical knockout in the 5th round of their fight in Stabhub Center, Carson, California.
Due to this victory, there is an increased chance that Viloria will be given a title bout for the World Super Flyweight Crown.
The match against Cartaguena is Viloria’s second fight this 2017, after leaving the ring for almost two years.
Last 2015, Viloria lost against Roman Gonzales and lost both WBC and Ring Flyweight titles.
