Habagat brings isolated rains to Southern Luzon, Visayas

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday, June 29, that the southwest monsoon, also known as Habagat, will affect the weather in Southern Luzon and Visayas region.

PAGASA said that Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Northern Mindanao, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zambales and Bataan will experience cloudy skies with scattered thundershowers and thunderstorms due to Habagat.

Meanwhile, the weather monitoring agency said that Metro Manila and the rest of the the Philippines will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain-showers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned residents from the above mentioned areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to the aforementioned weather conditions.
