Ride-hailing company Grab Philippines is now offering water delivery services in response to the ongoing water crisis in Metro Manila.

In a statement, Grab Philippines said that their water delivery service is available from 4:00PM to 9:00PM starting March 27 to March 29 or until supplies last.

Grab added that their water delivery service is only limited to users within the following barangays in Marikina: Escopa III, Escopa IV, Industrial Valley, Jesus de La Pena, Tanong, Santo Nino, Concepcion Dos, Nangka, Parang, and Marikina Heights.

To avail of their water delivery service, people only need to look for Grab IGIB in their Grab app, click on IGIB Today, and enter their location as drop-off.

The company explained that both the water and delivery are both free of charge but customers have the option of buying the container for a fee of Php 100.

Grab also clarified that customers can only request one container per booking. They also warned that the delivered water is not potable and therefore not safe for drinking.
