Prime suspect Narc Tulod Delemios extended his apologies to the family of Gerardo Maquidato Jr. whom he confessed of killing and robbing on October 26.
“Alam ko po na mahirap akong mapatawad ng pamilya na alam na siya ay good samaritan, pasensya pero mahirap lang po talaga maibalik,” Delemios said during a media briefing in Camp Crame on Wednesday.
Delemios added that he only meant to steal Maquidato’s money but one thing led to the other prompting him to fire his weapon.
Brenda, the wife of Maquidato, could not help but express her anger towards Delemios as her tears helpless fell.
Brenda faced Delemios and stressed that he should have let her husband live and just stole his earnings because they had dreams yet to fulfill for their family.
“Bakit di mo pinagbigyan na mabuhay siya? Ang dami niyang pangarap sa anak namin, sa pamilya namin,” she cried.
According to Philippine National Police Ronald Dela Rosa, Delemios surrendered to the Pasay City Police on Tuesday night. Authorities were also able to recover Maquidato’s stolen silver Toyota Innova.
Dellemios also faced murder charges back in February 2015.
