Fresnedi remains mayor of Muntinlupa; Biazon keeps seat in Congress

Jaime Fresnedi remains the mayor of Muntinlupa City.

Fresnedi, a candidate of the Liberal Party, garnered a total of 164,144 votes to beat his three opponents and extends his term. His closest rival for the mayoral seat, Red Marinas of the National Union Party, received a total of 52,127 votes.

Temy Simundac of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) garnered a total of 116,825 to win the vice-mayoral seat.

Meanwhile, Ruffy Biazon of PDP-Laban won another term as the district representative of Muntinlupa City.

Biazon garnered 169,756 votes to beat Paeng Arciaga, who had 36,317 votes, and Rodolfo Llorca, who had 2,326 votes, for the lone seat of Muntinlupa City in the House of Representatives.

The Muntinlupa City Board of Canvassers declared their victories at the morning of Tuesday, May 14.
