Foreign acts take over local concert scene

Foreign acts’ invasion.

As we approach the last quarter of the year, the country will have a deluge of foreign acts who will dominate our local concert scene.

From international singers to Kpop boybands, name it and the calendar’s definitely filled with them.

Pitbull jumpstarted it with his concert held recently at the Mall of Asia Arena, and Kpop teeny booper boy groups’ EXO and SHINee together with Dalshabet wowed the crowd a couple of weeks ago at the Araneta Coliseum.

This September, Rihanna is expected to bring in her Diamonds World Tour.  Legend’s The Platters who seems to be having a concert here in the country almost every year will be back again for a series of performances.

Rock groups like Matchbox 20 and The Killers will have Manila as part of their pit stop for their world tour.  International RnB singer Alicia Keys is set to make a comeback with her Set the World on Fire tour.

Kpop fangirls would have to hold tightly on their wallets as it’ll be a Hallyu invasion too.

The new kings of Hallyu, Super Junior will have their Super Show 5 on October 24 and tickets are almost sold out.  It has also been announced that Infinite will finally have their first solo concert in the Philippines in November.

It’s going to be a busy year for all concert lovers out there.
