Some bus units of the Five Star Bus company went up in flames in 359 Don Revilla Street, Brgy. 148, Pasay City early this afternoon.
According to Jimeno Lopez, supervisor of the Five Star Bu Company, seven of old busses, parked inside the garage were engulfed by the fire.
Lopez said that one of the busses suddenly went up in flames, and he immediately took a fire extinguisher, trying to control the fire. However, the fire quickly spread to the other parked busses.
This was not the first time that the said bus company experienced fire. In 1994 and 1998, a fire also broke out in the said compound.
Members of the Bureau of Fire Protection immediately responded to the scene.
Authorities are still investigating on what cause the said fire.
