The Far Eastern University Tamaraws are still in the race to grab the championship of the UAAP Season 80 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The Tamaraws defeated the Ateneo Blue Eagles last November 19 with a score of 80-67.

During the game in Araneta Coliseum, the victory of FEU was seemingly secured after leading by 17 points during the last two minutes of the game.

Ron Dennison contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals in order to lead the Tamaraws in giving the Eagles their second defeat in the season.

Meanwhile, Thirdy Ravena gave 17 points and six rebounds for the Blue Eagles.

Due to this, ADMU and FEU will once again face one another on November 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City in order to decide which team will enter the finals.

The winning team will face the De La Salle Green Archers who secured the first finals slot after defeating Adamson Soaring Falcons last November 18.
