A former cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) and his brother were arrested after allegedly assaulting a waiter with a sharp weapon in Matina, Davao Thursday morning.
Based on police investigation, the suspects identified as Christopher Resulogo and brother Mark were drunk and engaged in an argument with the waiter Arsenio Gonzales in Shrine Hills.
The argument was cut short and the suspects left the establishment. However, minutes after the two suspects returned with a knife and bolo and suddenly attacked the victim.
Authorities immediately responded to the scene and arrested the suspects, confiscating their weapons as well.
