European parliament worries over extrajudicial killings in PHL

Even the European parliament is bothered on the continued increase of deaths amid the intensified campaign of the Duterte administration against illegal drugs.

In a resolution released by the European Parliament, it stated that though the illegal drug problems in the Philippines is severe, the high number of killings during the police operations remains to be alarming.

Along with this, members of the European Parliament appealed to the Philippine government to stop the ‘extrajudicial executions and killing.’

They also called the Duterte administration to investigate the increase cases of allege extrajudicial killings and create policies to take care of human rights.

The European Parliament is composed of 28 nations.
