Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada will fly to gambling mecca Macau tomorrow to see Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao fight Brandon Rios at the Cotai Arena.
Erap confirmed this after Pacquiao personally called and invited him to watch his bout with the American.
The former President said that Pacquiao, his long-time friend, sent him tickets for the fight.
Estrada also confirmed that the Manila government will hold free public viewing of Pacquiao’s fight in seven gymnasiums and at the 168 mall.
Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police cancelled its usual live screening of the Pacquiao-Rios bout so as not to affect the relief operations for the victims of typhoon Yolanda.
