Estrada denies plans of shutting down six hospitals

Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada denied reports that there are plans to shut down six public hospitals in the city.

Estrada slammed the reports after there are rumors circulating that hospitals will be closed because the local government is saving its budget.

Though Alliance of Health Workers expressed their objection, the group did not say where the information came.

In connection to this, Estrada assured that the local government will cater to the needs of the hospitals particularly to hospital that lacks medical equipment and medicines. (Luisito Antonio Santos)
