Egypt declares state of emergency

Egypt declared a state of emergency after a bloody protest between security forces and supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi.

Based on the latest number, the death toll reached 278, including 200 civilians and 23 policemen.

The crackdown operations in eatern Cairo also proved to be fatal where 29 people died.

The leader of the Muslim brotherhood Mohamed El-beltagi threatened of a larger protest after the ouster of Morsi.
