Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes rejoins national team for 2017 SEA games


Billiards legend Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes will once again play for the Philippines in the upcoming 2017 Southeast Asian Games this August.

The Billiards Sports Confederation of the Philippines confirmed that Reyes is amongst the 11 Filipino billiards player that will be going to Kuala Lumpur for the upcoming 2017 SEA Games.

Reyes, nicknamed as the ‘Magician’, will be representing the Philippines in the English Billiards Single and Doubles tournament along with Francisco Dela Cruz.

The 63-year old billiards player is known for winning more than 70 international titles, including the WPA World Eight-Ball Championship, US Open Championship, and the World Pool League Championship.
