DZRH, the pioneer AM radio station in the Philippines held its “Kambyo King Night” last Sunday night and it was a massive success.
Kambyo King Night is DZRH’s way of thanking cab drivers for remaining loyal to the station. It’s actually a stickering night, but the management provides knickknacks, goodie bags, and some entertainment.
An unprecedented 500 cars have been stickered. The drivers were fed and even participated in five rounds of Videoke challenges.
The program was hosted by resident DZRH reporters and anchors, which include Sherwin Alfaro, Cyrille Cupino, and the tandem of Short-time hosts, Andy Verde and Kisses Jabson.
Even the occasional rain showers didn’t dampened the said event, as taxi cabs arrived non-stop at the Star City parking area.
The Kambyo Kings really seemed to be enjoying themselves, as most of them stayed the whole duration of the program.
As the night progressed, our Kambyo kings were treated to free coffee, energy drink, porridge and bread.
It was truly a night to remember, and DZRH promises that in the next Kambyo King Night, it’s going to be special with lots of surprises and definitely, it will make a happy Christmas to all cab drivers who will attend the said event.
The event will not be made possible without the help of our generous sponsors, namely, Pagoda Air Freshener; Family Rubbing Alcohol; Samis 3-in-1 coffee; Komeya 3Q Bihon; M. Lhullier; Cobra Energy Drink, Lakas ng Pinas!; Enervon HP; Pixcel Transglobal Foods Inc.; Tinapayan Festival; and some private donors.
DZRH Kambyo King Night is in cooperation with DZRH Operation Tulong.
Kambyo King Night is just one event that DZRH is conducting in preparation for its 75th Diamond anniversary happening in July of next year. Major and bigger events to happen in the coming months, so you better watch out for all these!
