The Department of Justice (DOJ) is recommending the dropping of charges against 59 alleged members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) who invaded Zamboanga City in September 2013, a news report said.

The news report said the 59 suspected members of the MNLF were only caught between the firefight between the rebels and the army.

The report added that they were only mistaken as MNLF members.

Among the accused are MNLF founding chair Nur Misuari and MNLF Commanders Ustadz Habier Malik, Bas Arki and Assamin Hussin.
