Die-hard Ginebra fans clamor for Jaworski’s presence on Game 6

The management of Barangay Ginebra is encouraging its fans to use #Jawosagamesix to invite former PBA playing coach Robert Jaworski to watch the upcoming game 6 of the PBA Governor’s Cup finals.

The fans responded to the wish of the management and the said hashtag has gone viral in social media since then.

Jaworski, or popularly known as ‘Jawo’, is known for leading Ginebra when they were still known as Anejo Rum and Gin Tonics, to four championships.

Ginebra’s next game against the Meralco Bolts is set on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

Meanwhile, in the world of Volleyball, FIVB Women’s Club World Championships is being compared to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

According to Reports, Philippine Superliga Chairman Philip Ella Juico made the comparison due to the number of Olympic-level players that are set to play in the competition.

The teams playing for FIVB championships have been complete with the arrival of Bangkok Glass and Hisamitsu Springs Rin in the Philippines.

Philippine team captain Rachel Ann Daquis promised that her team will be able to put up a fair fight against the other teams even if they have Olympic-level players.
