Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares and runningmate Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero topped the second pre-election survey “Desisyon 2016” conducted by broadcasting giant Manila Broadcasting Company and its flagship station DZRH.
The survey was presented by DZRH station manager Atty. Rejie Jularbal in an interview over Pangunahing Balita anchored by Dr. Joe Taruc and Deo Macalma.
Poe garnered 27 % with Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, falling to second spot, with 26.4 %. followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay in third with 21,4 %, former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas ranking fourth with 19.0%, and Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago as fifth over-all with 3.9 %.
Escudero was consistent in the top spot for vice president with 26.8 percent. Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is in number two with 25.1 %. Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo is third with 18.8 percent. Senator Renato Cayetano is fourth with 14.8 %. Senator Antonio Trillanes is fifth with 6.2 % and Senator Gringo Honasan in fifth with 5.5 %.
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson leads the senatorial survey with 53.0 percent. Followed by Senator Vicente Sotto with 53.0. In third is Migz Zubiri 46.6; followed by Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, 42.2; former Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, 38.1; Rep. Manny Pacquiao, 37.9; Sen. Sergio Osmena, 33.6; Philippine Red Cross chairman Dick Gordon, 33.4; Risa Hontiveros, 31.3; and Valenzuela Rep. Win Gatchalian, 28.3.
“Desisyon 2016” survey second wave was done on February 13, 2016 with a total of 7,572 respondents covering all provinces of the Philippines with a margin of error of 1.13 percent. The said survey was conducted through face to face interviews, as respondents were asked to answer a sample ballot.
