The Department of Budget and Management released a P2.68 billion fund for the funding and changes to be made in the Philippine National Police.

Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte stated that the amount is given to the agency via the Department of Interior and Local Government.

The allocated fund will be used for the operation transformation plan including repairs of 810 police stations and for additional applicants for vacant police positions.

Also part of the OT plan is buying almost 1,000 police mobiles, 4,000 mobile videos and 13,000 assault rifles. (Kisses Jabson)
