Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte was on the offensive after detained Sen. Leila De Lima’s comment against her and Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.

The issue stemmed from claims regarding “honest” public officials.

In an open letter shared by the Davao City Information Office in their social media account, Inday Sara fired back at De Lima, stating that the lady senator may have issued a letter because she has no access to television.

Inday Sara added that if she is the example of a “wrong” politician, De Lima would be the “worst” because the detained senator is both intelligent and dumb.

The Davao City mayor called De Lima “dumb” for meddling with the issue on honesty without knowing the full details and understanding the transcript of her statement.

The Presidential daughter insisted that the Opposition has no right to dictate on which candidate the public will vote nor should honesty be a requirement in running for office.

In line with this, Mayor Sara said that De Lima should just create a law that will add “honesty” as part of the requirement for all aspiring politicians, because this is only the way that we can save the government from the likes of De Lima, herself, Vice President Leni Robredo, President Rodrigo Duterte, Presidential Spokesman Panelo, Cong. Gary Alejano, Pilo Hilbay and all the “De Limas in the world.”
