The House of Congress has suspended its deliberation on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law.
The said law is supposed to be the key in achieving peace in Mindanao.
In the decision of the House Ad Hoc Commission, there’s no assurance on when the said deliberations will resume.
Cagayan De Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, committee chair, explained that the said suspending will give the members of the Ad Hoc panel to thoroughly study the result of the investigation on the death of the 44 members of the PNP-SAF in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
The Committee will also be able to focus on the hearing on the Mamasapano encounter by the House Committee on Public Order and Safety on Wednesday.
