Congress said that there is no reason to investigate the series of drug-related killings.

According to Senator Tito Sotto, this issue should be handled by the NAPOLCOM and other concerned government agencies.

Senator Panfilo Lacson said that no one is complaining, claiming that they are victims of summary execution; therefore there is no need for a Senate hearing.

Lacson added that in case there will be a Senate hearing regarding it, some Senators may not attend the session if the resolution of Senator Leila De Lima for the said investigation is based on speculation only.

Lacson, who is bound to be the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Order and Illegal Drugs, said that the Senate will only take into consideration De Lima’s resolution if there is a complainant or someone is willing to testify on the possible case of summary execution.
