Coach Reyes reveals 12-man line-up of Gilas Pilipinas against Chinese Taipei

Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes has revealed the 12-man line-up of the Philippine National Men’s Basketball in their game against a vengeful Chinese Taipei team on June 19.

According to reports, naturalized player Andray Blatche will be joined by four-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo, Asia’s Best Point Guard Jayson Castro, Japeth Aguilar, Troy Rosario, Gabe Norwood, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Matthew Wright, Roger Pogoy, Jio Jalalon, and Allein Maliksi as they attempt for another win in their campaign at the Asian Qualifiers of the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Currently, the Philippines has a secured a spot in the second round of the qualifiers after registering three wins and one loss during the previous two windows.

While, the Taiwanese team is still in contention for a spot in the next round, and also seeks vengeance for their 90-83 loss at the hands of Gilas last November in Araneta Coliseum, Manila.

After their game in Taipei, the Philippine team will be returning in order to host a game against Australia team, which is currently undefeated in their last game, in Philippine Arena, Bulacan on July 2.

Only seven out of 16 teams in the Asian region will qualify for the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
