Classes suspended due to typhoon ‘Labuyo’

Metro Manila schools and local government were early to announce the suspension of classes on Monday due to typhoon ‘Labuyo’.

Some universities and colleges also announced the suspension of classes, including St. Jude College, Sto. Niño Catholic School, UP Diliman, UP-Manila, University of Santo Tomas, Philippine Christian University, De La Salle University, St. Scholastica’s College Manila, Miriam College and Philippine Women’s University.

Also, schools from Tagaytay, Taguig, Malabon have suspended classes from pre-school to elementary.

Mandaluyong, Makati, Las Piñas, Caloocan, Muntinlupa, Pasig, Navotas (public schools only), Parañaque, Cainta, Angono, Tanay, Cavite, Bulacan and 17 barangays in Valenzuela City have suspended classes in pre-school to high school.

All classes are suspended in all levels in Pateros, San Juan, Manila, Pasay, San Mateo, Rizal, Laguna and Quezon City.
