Former child actor CJ Ramos was arrested by the police on Tuesday, July 31 in a drug buy-bust operation by the Caloocan City Police.
According to NCRPO Chief Guillermo Elazar during a media briefing, Ramos was caught buying illegal drugs from another alleged pusher known as Louvella Gilen who happened to be the original target of the operation.

A sachet of suspected methamphetamine or shabu worth P500 was confiscated from Ramos.
According to reports, Ramos had admitted using drugs prior to his arrest and said that he has been using drugs for 10 years now. He also added that the drug is ‘highly-addictive’ and that he used it due to his personal problems.
The former child actor also shared that he used his parents’ money to buy illegal drugs since he became jobless after leaving showbiz years ago.
Ramos is known for being a cast member in the 90s youth-oriented variety show Ang TV. Early in his career, he starred in films including Tanging Yaman, and Ang TV Movie: The Adarna Adventure.
