Vice President Leni Robredo fired back at his critics who continue to bash her in social media during a recent prayer rally.
The Vice President was calm as she graced the prayer rally organizes in Naga City, held at Plaza Rizal.
According to the vice president, she will fight those who continue to smear her and her late husband, Jess Robredo’s names.
Even though it will be difficult to pinpoint whoever is behind the said attacks, Robredo said that her camp is ready to file the necessary charges against them.
She also said that, during her campaign, she ignored the taunts against her. She even thought that it will end after the elections, but it continued until she became Vice President.
Robredo added further that the insults became worse after she won the elections. She emphasized that her children were also affected by the ridicule.
Majority of the City Councilors of Naga attended the prayer rally, while Mayor John Bongat made true to his word that he would not attend the activities after her spouse was accused of being behind the malicious statements against the VP.
Meanwhile, leaders of different sectors in Naga City also condemned cyber-bullying, especially the terrorization against the Vice President.
