Two-time NCAA champion coach Boyet Fernandez is ready to make a comeback with the San Beda Red Lions as he takes over the vacant spot of head coach.
San Beda team manager Jud Roque confirmed that Fernandez will be replacing Jamike Jarin, who incidentally transferred to the National University Bulldogs.
Aside from the red lions, Fernandez will also be coaching the newly formed PBA D-league team, Cignal-San Beda D-League.
The former PBA player once coached the NLEX road warriors but was replaced by coach Yeng Guiao when the team failed to make it to the PBA top 4 in last season’s Governor’s Cup.
