The Philippine National Police Board of Inquiry (BOI) will stand firm by its findings on the clash between PNP-Special Action Force commandos and Muslim rebels in Mamasapano, Maguindanao despite being criticized by Malacañang.
“With God as our witness, we just did our jobs the best we can,” one of the bBOI probers told in an interview.
According to the investigators, they just stated what has been an honest result of their careful scrutiny of all the evidences including the statements of all the soldiers that survived the misencounter incident that killed 44 SAFcommandos.
Meanwhile, BOI head dir. Benjamin Magalong is being supported by his men for coming up with an honest and credible report amid criticisms.
Even with the reaction from Malacanang and the Justice Department, the BOI chooses to remain silent in order to avoid igniting any more arguments concerning the said issue. (with DZRH Eva Ajero)
