Kpop girl group BLACKPINK announced their first-ever full-length studio album will be released on October 2.
On Tuesday, fans of the 4-member group, Blinks, expressed their excitement on the good news after its social media pages posted a teaser photo for their record, titled “The Album,” showcasing a pink tiara and indicated the release date.

BLACKPINK is also expected to release another single from their album next month.
The song is a collaboration supposedly with Selena Gomez, however, the group’s label YG Entertainment released a statement later on saying that they are yet to confirm the reports.

Blinks worldwide also celebrated “Solo,” a song by Blackpink member Jennie, reaching 500 million views on YouTube. The fans trended #JENNIESOLO500M.
Earlier, the girl group released the first single off the album, “How You Like That,” which achieved new Guinness World records and broke YouTube records.
