Black Sheep announces first-ever BL series “Hello Stranger”

“Hello Stranger” stars Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara

Jumping in on the bandwagon of BL (Brother Love) series, thanks to Thailand’s GMMTV’s #2gethertheseries, local movie outfit Black Sheep announced on Tuesday via social media its first BL series “Hello Stranger.”

Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara will play the lead roles in the said series with supporting cast including Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz, Gillian Vicencio and Miguel ALmendras.

Black Sheep’s first digital series will be directed by Petersen Vargas.

Labrusca and the other cast members have already posted the poster on their respective social media accounts, stating that they are excited to work on the said project.

Aside from the poster and cast, no other details have been revealed regarding the said series.

Incidentally, ABS-CBN inked a partnership with GMMTV acquiring the rights and OTT to air eight of its series; including the monster-hit “2gether: the series” starring Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin and its soon to be released sequel #Still2gether.  Both series are slated to air on the recently launched Kapamilya channel and iWant.

Though Filipinos are known to be fanatics of asianovelas, the “Sarawat-Tine” love story will be the first-ever BL series to be shown on local tv.
