The said protest is in connection with the sudden burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The Bagong Alyansang Makabayan will head the protest of the anti-Marcos groups at Rizal Park, and 13 other areas all over the country.

According to BAYAN Sec. General Renato Reyes, aside from Luneta, there will also be rallies in Isabela, Tarlac, Tuguegarao City, Iloilo City, Bicol, Cebu, Davao, UP-Los Banos, Calamba, Lucena City, Batangas City and Antipolo City.

Reyes insisted that their rally will be a peaceful one.  They just want to express their opposition on the burial of Marcos at the hero’s cemetery and make the President liable for his actions.

Reyes hopes the President Duterte will understand where the anger of the public is coming from, and wishes that he will find time to listen to the true voice of the Filipinos.
